Scott Matula, AIA

LJM Architects

Scott Matula, AIA has been at LJM Architects since 1997 and specializes residential projects, historic preservation work, adaptive reuse of existing buildings, hospitality and multi-family projects. He enjoys working on smaller, more sustainable homes in existing urban areas. Most of his experience is in more traditional design. His current interests are modern design and sustainable architecture. Scott has been licensed in the State of Wisconsin since 2000 and received a Bachelors degree in Architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1991. Prior to his work at LJM Architects, he has had extensive experience in almost every aspect of the residential construction industry. Those roots are still apparent today as he enjoys a hands on approach in resolving design issues. Outside of the office, Scott likes to restore old homes and is a partner in River Park Place, an urban neighborhood redevelopment project.
